Template Check came about in 2006 when three monkeys got together and decided that they wanted to take over the world, but alas, they had a bit of trouble communicating that message to the computer. Instead they came up with a few pages of Shakespeare and Template Check.

As a bit of an afterward, two of the monkeys went off to develop interstellar transportation spacecrafts while the third monkey went to the Bahamas.
